Welcome to ChinaKidz

ChinaKidz was set up by Alan & Lyn Gould to support their work in China to rescue, care for and improve the lives of orphaned, abandoned, sick, disabled, handicapped and other children in need.

They work in support of and to develop further the care of children from state run orphanages within the Chinese Welfare system linking with and complementing the work of other charities where appropriate.

ChinaKidz aims to provide

• Special equipment
• Special formula and feeding programmes / expertise for children who are malnourished and require supplementary feeding
• Support for training of Nannies and therapy assistants to care for and treat the infants and children
• Some of the infants/children in our care benefit from further investigation and hospital care, including surgery, and the charity will try to contribute to the not insignificant costs associated with medical care in China.

Alan & Lyn are working for New Hope foundation in Henan Province, central China, where they run ground breaking Special Care Units in state run orphanages caring for sick and dying babies. The units were set up by Rob & Joyce Hill who are the founders and directors of NHF and run a large healing home in Beijing as well as several other projects under the New Hope foundation umbrella, including the work in Henan.

Additionally the charity aims to provide expertise in the medical/therapeutic field as we are able to 'recruit' western volunteers to work with the children to assess and treat/rehabilitate the children as appropriate and provide loving care and play for all the children.

Our aim is "To comfort always, to relieve often, and to save sometimes."
