Welcome to ChinaKidz

ChinaKidz was set up by Alan & Lyn Gould to support their work in China to rescue, care for and improve the lives of orphaned, abandoned, sick, disabled, handicapped and other children in need.

They work in support of and to develop further the care of children from state run orphanages within the Chinese Welfare system linking with and complementing the work of other charities where appropriate.

"中国儿童"(ChinaKidz)是由古英俊 (Alan Gould) 和金林(Lyn Gould) 夫妇在中国 建立的慈善机构,旨在救助那些需要帮助的孤弃病残儿童,并关怀和改善他们的生 活。 他们在中国国家儿童福利院的支持下,给儿童更深入的关怀,并与其他慈善机构 相互合作日臻完善

ChinaKidz aims to provide

  • Special equipment
  • Special formula and feeding programmes / expertise for children who are malnourished and require supplementary feeding
  • Support for training of Nannies and therapy assistants to care for and treat the infants and children
  • Some of the infants/children in our care benefit from further investigation and hospital care, including surgery, and the charity will try to contribute to the not insignificant costs associated with medical care in China.

Additionally the charity aims to provide expertise in the medical/therapeutic field as we are able to involve western volunteers to work with the children to assess and treat/rehabilitate the children as appropriate and provide loving care and play for all the children.
